Fantu Degefu Bulli

Their Story: Fantu became a single mother when her husband abandoned the family shortly after their son was born. Since that time, she has been supporting herself and her children by gather-ing and selling Aloe Vera plants in the local market and by taking in laundry for neighbors two days per week. Her income in unstable and does not supply enough to meet the family’s basic needs.

Goals for the Future: Fantu is interested in buying and reselling home goods in the local market. Monthly support will help enable her to make that dream a reality.

Your support of $50/month for three years will provide financial training, health and hygiene education, parenting classes, and counseling. It will also cover instruction, support and mentoring to establish and run a small business to secure a bright future for this family.
