Emuye

Two years ago, Emuye, a single mother of three in Ethiopia, was unemployed and struggling to feed and raise her family.  After connecting with ABF4K and receiving mentoring, counseling, business training, and monthly support, her life has changed dramatically.  Her children are attending school and she has developed a business producing and distributing injera (Ethiopia’s bread-like staple) to small restaurants and markets in her neighborhood.  She recently graduated from the ABF4K program, no longer needing monthly support.  Emuye is proud to be self-sufficient and says, “Work hard in silence.  Let success make a noise.”
